Mr. White joins SAS-GPS as a consulting pricing professional with over 20 years experience, primarily in Government Contracting, encompassing Pricing Support, Project Management, Business Development, and Operations Management. Mr. White is a graduate of Indiana University, Kelley School of Business, where he earned a Double Major in Business Marketing & Operations Management.
Mr. White’s work is not of the mass production type as no two clients, or opportunities, are typically the same. He seeks to understand the client’s industry (on both a macro and micro level), the specific opportunity being sought, the competitive environment, and any other special aspects related to each proposal in order to draft a uniquely tailored pricing response and ensure the client is positioned in the best opportunity to win. Mr. White can help when offerors struggle with how to price positions covered by Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS, SCA) or Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA, Union).
He works with clients ranging from sophisticated incumbents desiring to understand how a competitor may work to unseat them on a re-compete, to those who are just starting their business journey and need guidance on winning pricing strategies and preparing the required buildups and narratives for volume submission. Though the client has ultimate say over proposed rates and loads, Mr. White works closely with them to ensure each cost element is understood and is as competitive as desired. Large Prime offerors often engage his services to act as a bridge with their smaller subcontractor teammates to assist with their requirements heavy proprietary sealed bids, ensuring a compliant and unified response.
Through his work experience and time with SAS-GPS, Mr. White has gained exposure to a number of different industries such as Allied Health, Professional Security, Financial Services, Pass-through payments, Mail Support contracts, Clerical, Administrative, and Program Management support personnel for a number of Government Services such as DoD, DHS USCIS, USAID, VA, and MEDCOM to name a few.
On a personal note, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and learning about new technologies.
