Pamela Thurman

Pamela Thurman is a technical writer who has been heavily involved in Federal and private sector contracting for over 10 years. During that time, her responsibilities have included proposal writing, proposal management, pricing, subcontractor coordination, and contract onboarding.

Pamela has written winning proposals for contracts with the Hines VA CMOP, F.E. Warren AFB, Ft. McCoy Army Installation, Chicago Department of Aviation, U.S. Coast Guard – NOLA, University of Michigan Health Systems, United Airlines, and the City of Pittsburgh.

In addition, she has served as a government contractor in several different capacities for the GSA, Smithsonian Institution, F.E. Warren AFB, Fort McCoy Army Installation, and the Hines VA CMOP.

Prior to her contract work, Pamela worked as an Industrial Engineer and Project Manager in consumer goods manufacturing where she developed process specifications, quality control manuals, preventive maintenance protocols, software user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

Pamela’s academic background includes a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Tennessee Technological University (1991) and a M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee (1996) which allows her to bring a unique skillset to any proposal.

Skills such as data analysis, project management, cost analysis, process improvement, and attention to detail have proven invaluable in providing documentation that is clear and concise for readers while promoting a winning strategy.

When not working, Pamela enjoys interior decorating, event planning, watching college sports, and hiking.
